Initiatic Travel at the doors of the Amazon
We invite you to travel with us to Putumayo Colombia, the doors of the Amazon, to meet one of the most respected indigenous Ayahuesca chaman, taita Querubin. Together with Mamo Lorenzo, spiritual guide from the Arhuaco people from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, we will connect to the land and its abondant nature and travel deeper in the forest to meet taita Humberto Diaz who will accompany us to taita Querubin from the Cofan people. Taita is the title the young chaman receive from the elder to have permission to serve the medicine after 25 years of service to the elder taita. Ayahuesaca is a path in which the ancestral wisdom is passed through service and observation. In Colombia, this sacred beverage is named « yahé" and the indigenous said it is the « Hair of God ». The legend also said that Ayahuesaca is born in Putumayo, the cradle of the medicine, before to spread in the whole Amazon.
On the way, we will do spiritual healing work to purify our body, mind and spirit with Mamo Lorenzo, to be ready to receive the medicine. The Arhuaco people are doing spiritual work with « pagamentos » that are offerings to the spirits of nature and from their vast cosmology. They work with the power of thoughts and their alignment with our heart and actions. They are known to be the guardians of the earth as they do work for our planet and humankind. They use « hayu », coca leaves that are mixed with tobacco cream and activated by the use of a « poporo » an instrument to connect with the heart of the earth.
During this travel, we will create a sacred meeting of wisdom between the Western culture and the ancient knowledges of the Amazon, in the South of Colombia, to the North, the Sierra Nevada the Santa Marta, also known to be the Heart of the World. We will connect to sacred sites in the beautiful jungle of Putumayo and have gatherings and offerings for healing ourselves and connecting to Mother Earth. We will have the immense honour to work with recognised tribal masters during 7 days and facilitators from France and Germany.
The retreat is in Spanish, French, English & German.
YOUR TEAM OF HEALER & GUIDES
The places were we stay are part of the experience of our retreat.
The first 2 nights and the last 2 nights, we will stay in an Eco Lodge in the heart of jungle where everything is in wood. There is a 30 min hike to reach the place so if you cannot carry your bag, no problem, we organise a horse for you. Then we will travel deeper in the jungle and stay by the Taitas in their "casas de yahé" "House of Ayahuesca". There we will sleep in hammock and enjoy to be in the jungle in this beautiful surrounding, listening to the forest. The last 3 days, we are back in the Eco-Lodge. There, it is possible to stay in private rooms or to share the room with one or more persons.
WHERE YOU WILL GO
During our retreat, we will visit sacred places in nature, such as waterfalls. The Mocoa region is full of water and we will walk to special places to receive purification with the water element. Mamo Lorenzo will accompany us throughout the trip to share his wisdom and his way of connecting with nature with deep respect. We will do spiritual work to purify the mind, body and spirit. Then we will travel to receive medicine from Taita Humberto Diaz for 1 night, before going to Taita Querubin for 2 nights of ceremonies. Then we will return to Mocoa to relax in the Eco Lodge and have private consultations with Mamo Lorenzo. On the last day, we will end our retreat with an offering to the waterfall.
During the whole trip we will have private cooks and transport.
