Back to the Origin is the retreat from Mamo Lorenzo Izquierdo, spiritual leader from the Arhuaco people coming from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. These sacred mountains located on the Caribbean coast are called the heart of the World. 

The retreat is taking place for the first time in Europe. We invite you to heal your ancestral lineage and your territory, to align fully with your heart.

The original inhabitants of these mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta are the Arhuacos, the Kogis and the Wiwas, the direct descendants of the Tayrona civilisation. They have the function to be the Earth keepers. Their work is to bring balance on Mother Earth and to take care of sacred sites. They have an ancestral wisdom dating back 14’000 years before JC and are part of the most preserved indigenous communities. Now they go out of their gorgeous nature to spread the message of the Earth to their brothers.

There is a native prophecy in whole America that tells about the unification of the 5 races to begin a new era, a world of peace and understanding. Accordingly, we need to heal our ancestral lineage from the 7 generations in the past and the future, to transform our DNA and be free of old memories that are interferences to our development.
 

Back to the Origin is a retreat to purify the body, mind, heart and spiritual bodies to renew them, with clearing your lineage from the 7 generations of ancestors and at the same time opening the path to clear the future generations. It is energy work including clearing of your territory, the country where you are born. The whole idea is to go back to the origin of any problem to find its cause and heal it. During the retreat, you will receive a spiritual name as a baptism for your offering to the creation.

The spiritual work consists of doing offerings to the spirits of nature in relation with the wide cosmology of the Arhuaca culture. It is therefore a work for yourself, your family and Mother Earth to transform all negative memories into gold, for you to become this gold and freely go on your path, listening to your inner voice clearly. With learning to clean the nature in yourself, you clean Mother Nature: the Earth is in you.

During the retreat, a special food is cooked with the seeds of the territory. The food is grounding and purifying the body. The days are rhythmed by the meals served according to the zenith. In the morning, we do the spiritual work, in the afternoon we go to visit sacred sites or participate in activities by our guests or have free time. In the evening, we gather around the fire to share, play music and dance. All along the retreat, grand-father fire is burning to accompany the transformative work.

The Grand Mother Earth and the Father Sun are asking us to go back to this Origin, the order of the beginning. The Order of the beginning is that all cultures go back to live like before. The retreat will be held in Spanish, French, English and German on request. It will take place in the beautiful land of Bugarach in France. The retreat is welcoming families, please let us know if you like to join with your kids. We organise a kid's place in the morning that you can enjoy the spiritual work.
